For awhile now I wanted a Poppy Parker with red hair.
I looked and waited for IT to release the perfect gal for the re-root I had in mind.
Then, along came Poppy Parker Go See...
She was re-rooted in a hand blend of 3 different saran colors.
I decided I liked her better on a Dynamite Girl's body, and am very pleased with her result.

A quick before shot...
Pretty but not right for my collection.
And one more picture for good measure. ;)
The lovely dress is by the VERY talented Andy of HautePoppet.
I hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend!

That red is fabulous for her!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I couldn't find exactly what I wanted for her, so I blended 3 different shades of Titian from Restoredoll. :)
DeleteHer new hair suits her very well - just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Phyllis!!!! <3
DeletePoppy is beautiful! I especially love the color you chose for her hair.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! <3 (^_^) I'm very much in love with this color on her.
DeleteShe's gorgeous! The outfit is a perfect match for her.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Andy makes such lovely clothes! I just placed another order from his newest collection. lol I cannot control myself. ;)
DeleteI'm a sucker for dolls with red hair. She's fabulous. I think her face paint súts her new hair color perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI am too! I may need to take a red haired doll group shot soon. I think they are taking over a lil. ;) Thank you so much!!! <3
DeleteAh, she looks gorgeous with the new hairstyle and colour. Was it hard to reroot hair? I've been thinking of doing that with one of my Monsieur Z girls but had read the FR heads are really hard to reroot.
ReplyDeleteAdore that dress on her. I have to admit, I really like the dynamite bodies too. They're just so delicate and easy to dress and redress.
Her head was especially hard to re-root. Sometimes the heads end up thicker in certain places. I've seen it happen with Barbie, but they have a soft head so it's less awful. lol BUT in saying that, it can be done. :) You should give it a go. The hard part is keeping the head soft enough to get the needle and hair in. (A heating pad or hot water is very helpful.)
DeleteThank you! The dress is lovely and she really owned it. :) The DG bodies are one of my favorite too!
She looks gorgeous as a redhead. What made you change the body as well as the hair?
ReplyDeleteThank you!! (^_^) I felt like she was better suited as a taller and lankier gal. The Poppy body was just too short. And I thought my DG Susie she stole the body from would look better on her shorter Poppy body. And it worked. :)
DeleteGorgeous!! I love her!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
