  2. hahah. So cute! I love seeing your reroot zone! So distracted by all the heads I want! Wanna know what's spooky? One of your plug girls, the one with the Candy shirt? I actually have that doll I think and her name? Candy. Creeepyyyy. I need to bring that girl back to life.

Your editing of facial expressions is amazing!

    1. I had a mini panic attack when I actually pulled out all my future projects. The truth is...that isn't even all of them. I had no way of fitting everything into the scene. lol I'm still horrified at the visual of unfinished projects. The perfectionist part of me is screaming. Haha!
And thank you so much! It takes FOREVER! I took all of these pictures last weekend and have been working on them off/on all week.

As for Alexia aka "Candy" in Grandville...she is actually a childhood doll that belongs to my sister (Nikita). She always had this hilarious valley voice she would give her. And to this day, if I'm being too serious/stressed she'll interject what we now call, "Alexiaisms" into the conversation. Cheers me up every time. (^_^) lol Oh, and the Candy thing...so creepy! xD Although, I hope you do bring her back to life!

  4. Thank you Saffy! (^_^) Please tell me I'm not the only one with a re-root dungeon?! lol And I'm super happy the facial expressions went over so well! They took a long time, and I wasn't sure how they would project over all.

  5. Hello from Spain: I like your area reroot. You have many heads. Your program is very real facial expressions. I really like the story and the pictures. The dspacho with wooden table and shelving is fabulous. Great job. Keep in touch

  9. This entire blog post was wonderful, but I'm fixated on two things. First, that desk!!! It's absolutely gorgeous and makes me want to renew my vow to learn woodworking. My dolls want a desk, and eventually, a nice vanity with a mirror. I have a neighbor who does woodworking... I may have to trade him homemade cookies for lessons.

(I should do this sooner rather than later. The dolls have threatened to take my chocolate hostage.)

And second... the re-rooting dungeon!!! Best idea ever. So much better than just putting supplies in a box. I don't have enough doll hair/heads at the moment to warrant doing something like this, but I do have a surplus of beadwork, so the dolls are getting an art gallery instead. My Top Model Summer doll, Allison, has already appointed herself the curator.

    1. Thank you Sarah! My brother really blew me away with the beautiful desk! <3 I'm either going to have him teach me, or beg him to make me more amazing pieces. lol You should get into wood working! I bet you would come up with some fabulous stuff! (^_^)

      Oh no! Doll threats...dangerous.

Thank you! It really fell into place naturally. I have been doing the re-root thing for so long, that I always kind of imagined what a physically constructed re-root area would look like (with designated stations). And then I began wondering how funny it would be if the dolls could re-root one another. Kind of nuts, but I was pleased with how it turned out.
Please let me know when you have the art gallery set up! I would love to see it! Allison sounds like she may be the woman for the job, but then again....she may be signing on for much more than she realizes. 1/6 Cat says....RUN! lol

  12. Hah! All the calamity and activity going on is hilarious. I love how tough and snarky Molly is. Can't wait to see more of this motley crew!

  14. The facial expressions make this even better! I kept going back to look at them. They're beautiful! Poor 1:6 Cat though. Hopefully she's able to get everyone settled down before they drive her too insane.

    1. Thank you Alura!! I'm so surprised at how much everyone enjoyed the facial expressions. Definitely going to be a continued theme in each installment. :) And I think she will bounce back. I picked her to run things when I can't for a reason! lol I'm sure she will have moments of insanity, but who doesn't? ;)

  15. Sounds like ADF needs a week-long retreat to one of those awful workplace get-along workshops. Although it might be funny to see how many bodies hit the floor during the "trust fall" exercises!

And I wish I had a separate re-root dungeon. I'm sleeping in mine, at the moment! :)

    1. Oh my goodness!!! That is an exceptional idea and point! If things keep on this rocky road, a workplace get-along workshop may be in their future. (If they do go, you will be credited and linked to for such an outstanding idea.) (^_^)

I hope one day you get your very own re-rooting palace! You are on it! SO happy each time I see your newest endeavour! Thank you for the awesome comment and idea Tina!

  17. Hilarious! I loved when London put the hat on Cat's head. And Molly is just too adorable, sans the attitude. lol. And the Candy girl was too funny. Great dialogue.

    1. Thank you Vanessa!! <3 London is a fun sort of crazy, and I'm not quite convinced Molly is all bad. Misguided, but not pure evil. (At least I hope not.) lol

  18. Hahahaha! OMG! This is great Cat!! I was cracking up the whole way through. I love the look on the 2 dolls faces that are on the mannequins when they are between Molly and 1:6 Cat. Awkward!! Oh and the pic of Ron Burgandy hilarious. Molly seems to be quite stressed....Anyhoo! I loved reading a story from you again. Try not to stress too much. Being a perfectionist can be quite stressful. I know I do it too when working on projects.
    Take care!! ^_^

    1. Thank you Miranda!!! (Always happy to see you!!) I am stoked to hear you laughed throughout the story. I'm already working on the next installment! ;) A lot of people have mentioned loving that picture! I was laughing while I edited it, and I tried out a few different expressions before I settled on those. lol Very awkward!
After I realized where the story was going that part of Anchorman kept ringing in my head. I thought it fitting to include it. lol
From one perfectionist to another...I AGREE!! I'm making sure I take my time and enjoy it. As I always say, this is meant to be fun! (^_^)

    1. LOL! You do have problems over there, but they are just different problems. BTW I love reading/watching your doll related problems! (^_^) So happy I caught up! I look forward to your posts every Monday! <3

Thank you so much! My brother needs to make more 1/6 stuff! lol And I'm interested to see how this Molly debacle plays out. ;)

  21. Oh I love your blog and diorama settings!! I actually really like dolls in casual clothes because their not common and most dolls are always dressed up. And look at all those heads! I also have a bunch of doll heads because I keep switching doll bodies around. It looks like I will need to catch up on your past posts!

    1. Thank you so much Christine! <3 I don't dress up too often (almost never) and I really wanted my 1/6 version to reflect that. Everything she wears is something I would wear. Or I've actually worn something similar to it. :) My head population has actually increased. I think Molly is about to crack. LOL I have a few dolls whose heads I swap in and out too. It can definitely pile up! I look forward to hearing from you on the blog in the future! Thank you again for stopping in and leaving a comment! Have a wonderful weekend! (^_^)
