Another turning point a fork stuck in the road...

It is time to officially announce what I have suspected for a few months now.
Doll Drama has reached an end.
I haven't made an episode since January.
That is one very LONG hiatus.

So, out of kindness for the series I will not be making anymore episodes.
This probably won't come as much of a shock to any of you, but I thought I would go ahead and confirm it.

Why didn't I make more episodes?

Well, I took on commissions, started an Etsy store, sold off half of my doll related stuff, reformatted my life several times, and developed a more well rounded collection of dolls and doll stuff.

Now to add to the above...
I am in process of house hunting, and packing.
That means a packed up doll room, and several months of limbo.
I hate the wait around on stuff like this.

The good news is this...

I have been thinking of doing little mini photo stories around newer dolls I have with an occasional video here and there. However, I need to get moved first.

So for now, most of what you will see here will have to do with doll customization, doll related events, doll sewing (even the epic fails lol), and any other doll related thing that pops up.

I may get a wild urge to post some sort of photo story in the future, so don't worry about seeing Haven again....you will see him again. He wouldn't have it any other way.
(^_^)

So, obviously the entire look of this blog is going to change. Eek!
If you have any questions pertaining to the series and what would have happened (because I actually know even though I didn't produce anymore episodes) I will give ya an answer.

In other news...

I got my very first Momoko!!!!!!
(^_^)

I named her Molly.
She is a "Dramatic Bride" Momoko.
I will begin making and selling stuff in her size in the future.

(A special thank you to Ms. Leo for the backdrop!)

I am also selling what would have been "Claudia", Persephone's evil sister. lol

She was re-rooted and re-bodied.
She comes with the dress you see her wearing as a "free gift" because I don't think it is perfect enough to sell. (^_^) lol

You can find her eBay listing HERE!

Thank you for the continued love and support!

  1. Hello Cat :)
I understand the situation in which you find yourself. Even I have faced many changes in recent months, some positive, many, unfortunately, negative. Don't worry, I think your blog is super fantastic and it will continue to be so! I like to see everything that you do, because you are a great artist, but above all a great person so keep it up!! Molly is so cute! I always thought of a Momoko add to my collection, but they are all so pretty that I don't know ever decide

  2. Your Momoko is so beautiful!!!! I want one so badly.

And honestly, while stories are lovely, I love seeing, just as much, works in progress, and mods and all that other stuff. It's so exciting to see others displaying their awesome talents... so I wouldn't worry too much about lack of a huge over-arching storyline. :)

    1. Thank you Heather! (^_^) I'm sure there will be doll drama around the blog without an actual show. lol For example, I was trying to remove a neck knob from an old barbie body with pliers and sliced my knuckles open on the plastic. Barbie DOES bite. Just not the way one would think. Maybe I shouldn't have provoked her with the neck crackin' plier' wieldin' violence?... Oh well, got my neck knob. (^_^)

I am surprise you don't have a Momoko already!!

  3. Wow it feels like our doll family keeps breaking up more and more. But we all must live our flesh human lives now and again. Moving has lots of upsides so stay positive. We'll always be here to see what wonderful things you come up with next!

See you on the Book of Faces!

  8. Sorry to hear but we all must do what we have to do! I am not a fan of moving. :( I always lose something when I do. I hope it is better for you. Molly look great! A Momoko is on my list of dolls to get next year. Glad you were able to use the backdrop. I hope you have fun playing with it even if you don't post. I think a few of us all started posting within a year or two of each other and have reach the same point in the process. I think we are taking different paths and exploring new things. I look forward to see where we all go with it. There are enough people out there trying to limit you without you limiting yourself. Do what you can do and do what you want to do. That is all we wish for you!
